The International Center for Law and Religion Studies is holding its Religious Freedom Discussion, Thursday, September 15th at 12:00 noon, MDT. Professor Robert T. Smith is to be the guest speaker. Smith will present on “Valuing Religion: Historical Tax Privileges of Churches in a Modern Secular Age.” You may attend this event in person at the Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School (Room 472) or you can attend online. Space is limited, so to attend online, please register at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/795897633.
After registration, you will be sent the link to use for the presentation. This process is straight-forward, but you will need to allow 10 minutes or so to download the initial software and reconnect using your registered guest link. A recording of the presentation will be available online, so if you're interested in hearing the lecture but are unable to join us on the 15th, you can listen by going to www.iclrs.org following the presentation.
