So...do you tweet? Does your firm tweet? Is it worth the effort? What's the point? I'm not sure that I have an answer to any of those questions, however, I would like to point out the fact that the
Mormon Lawyers Blog has almost 2,500 followers. Now it's true that many of those followers are companies selling pharmaceuticals from Indonesia, there are some actual humans that read our tweets. I know this because when a new article is written on this blog I will send out a tweet giving a brief explanation of the post's content. Then sometime in the next 24 hours approximately 1% of our Twitter followers will click on the tweet's hyperlink and visit the blog. Is a 1% bump in site viewership good? What would it mean to you? Now if we could only get as many followers as
Justin Bieber...he is approaching 13 million followers.
I recently came across a
very interesting study showing how people use Twitter both on the receiving and sending end. Take a minute to review the article it may just help boost your bottom line or help you stay better connected to your millions of adoring fans.
